Congratulations to Samantha Cornelius and Kaitlyn Williams of Plainview High School! They will be going to Washington D.C. this summer to represent FTC at the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Youth Tour.
FTC sponsors two students from area high schools to participate in the FRS Youth Tour program. There, the students get to visit the nation’s capital and visit famous historical sites. They also get an inside look at the telecommunications industry. FTC contacted all of the area schools and invited 11th graders to participate in a speaking contest. This year’s speech was “Which technology is most important to me”. Samantha and Kaitlyn were top two winners this year and we know they will represent FTC well!
We would like to congratulate Kelsey Gant of Scottsboro High School. Kelsey is the FTC 2018 Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Scholarship recipient!
